Pen Pots

Pen Pots

Hand decoupaged glass pen pots. Decoupage originated in France in the 17th century. It became a fashionable aristocratic pastime at the Italian, French, and English courts. Decoupage is time consuming technique which gives a beautiful finish. It is difficult on curved surfaces, so each pen pot takes several days to complete. It requires great skill for top quality results. Due to its time consuming nature, decoupaged objects are made in limited numbers so stand a good chance of becoming valuable collectibles.
